Eisenhower Clubs and Activities
We are happy to support a number of clubs and activities that are offered at no cost to our students. Clubs are run by staff advisors - please reach out directly to advisors with any questions.
Newspaper Club

The Eisenhower Eagle Newspaper Club will create a school-wide newspaper. Students will brainstorm ideas for features, articles, and artwork and then work with each other and the advisor to meet deadlines for publication. Some additional time outside our meetings may be required to complete the content to meet these deadlines.

Helping Hands Club

Helping Hands is a club that will inform students about local, national, and global issues. Students will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on their world. Throughout the year, students will take part in a variety of events. Some of the activities that Helping Hands has participated in include Trick-or-Treating for UNICEF, Rise Against Hunger food packaging event, and the annual Senior Citizen Breakfast. Additional events/activities will be determined throughout the year with input from Helping Hands members. Students will be invited to join the Helping Hands Google Classroom upon enrollment.

Robotics Club
Advisor:

Limited space available. Registration deadlines will be posted.
Students will have the opportunity to build and program robots using the Lego Mindstorms EV3. In addition to having fun, they will have the opportunity to learn about engineering problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Students will have the opportunity to work individually or in small groups to complete projects and challenges. There will be 2 sessions available. Maximum number of students per session is 18. Students may only participate in one session.

Drama Club

Drama Club gives every student at Eisenhower the chance to shine! Students will have the opportunity to develop their singing, dancing, and acting skills while working in a collaborative environment. Everyone is welcome to audition no matter your skill set or experience. Not a fan of being in the spotlight? We are always looking for students to help backstage as well and be a part of our stage crew!
Dates: Our 2025-2026 musical will be performed on April 14-15 at 7pm at the Eisenhower School Gym
Rehearsal: All rehearsals are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:35-4pm
Sign ups: Audition information will be set out in November!
Eagle Leaders

The Eagle Leaders Club is a group of student leaders who are committed to helping our school community SOAR! Eagle Leaders will be positive role models who demonstrate Safety, Ownership, Acceptance, and Respect while making a difference in our school and community.
EAGLE LEADERS must fill out a Google Form application by October 16th in order to be part of the club. The advisors will choose the representatives and space is limited.
Meeting Dates: 1st Tuesday of Every Month from 2:35 - 3:35 in the Library
To register for clubs please complete the appropriate registration form/permission slip and return to Eisenhower School.

Hard copies for all forms are available in the main office or your child's homeroom.
Activity fees are not required for participation in a school club. This does not include PTO sponsored Enrichments.
Some clubs have a selection and/or audition process.
