Bridgewater Raritan High School alumnus Ashley Martinho, a member of the class of 2022, was recently named captain of the women's soccer team at Lafayette College for her senior season.
Ashley is a Biology major who is also minoring in Art. She plans to attend veterinary school upon her graduation from the college in Easton, Pennsylvania.
Ashley enrolled at Lafayette after a standout high school career that was capped by her Bridgewater-Raritan team winning the Raritan Division of the Skyland Conference and the Somerset County Tournament in her senior season.
Ashley comes from a soccer-playing family.
Her older sister, Amanda, who graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan High School in 2020, finished her college career at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus as the program’s all-time leader in minutes played.
Younger sister Audrey, who just graduated in June from Bridgewater-Raritan High School, was the captain of the girls’ soccer team this past fall and will continue her career at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus.
