A festive performance was delivered by the 5th Grade students during the Eisenhower Intermediate School Winter Chorus Concert on Tuesday, December 3, and Wednesday, December 4.
On the evening of December 3, these passionate chorus students performed for their family and friends and then they came back the next morning of December 4 when they presented their concert to their schoolmates and staff in an assembly, all held in the Eisenhower gymnasium.
Madison Kaminsky, Eisenhower’s Grade Choral Director, reported on what she believed was a wonderful showing during both concerts.
“ They sang a diverse selection of winter-themed pieces and also highlighted student speakers who spoke about the winter holidays and cultural traditions that they celebrate at home with their families and around the world,” Ms.Kaminsky said.
She was also impressed with the preparation her students produced.
“With so little time between the start of the school year and early December, our students worked incredibly hard to prepare and memorize this challenging repertoire of music during their weekly chorus classes,” Ms. Kaminsky shared.
Ms. Kaminsky and her students will continue to sharpen their talents during the entire school year.
“I am so proud of their accomplishment and am looking forward to our next performance at the Festival of the Arts in March where you will, again, get to see how talented this group of students is,” she concluded.
