Ike band 6th grade

Carrie Jendza was introduced to the successful musical experience at the Eisenhower Intermediate School.

The Orchestra Director was thrilled with the performance her students delivered when the Eisenhower’s Winter Orchestra and Band Concert was held on Wednesday, December 11.

The orchestra and band students played for their schoolmates during the day and then they performed for their families and friends in the evening in the school’s gymnasium.

“This is my first year directing the orchestra ensembles (6th Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra), and I'm very proud of the students' dedication in preparing and performing their musical selections,” Ms. Jendza said.

She added:

“It was a great day for music at Eisenhower.”

Eisenhower’s Band Director, Jacob Ulm, also shared his positive response to the performance of his students.

“The 6th Grade Band had two outstanding performances. One for the student body, during the school day and one in the evening for their families. The students performed well at both concerts and I'm extremely proud of them,’ Mr. Ulm stated.
