A group of exceptional Eisenhower Intermediate School students soared above and beyond during the first marking period.
Under the guidance of Dr. Laura Bassett, the Eisenhower Principal, the school celebrated recipients of the Exceptional Eagle award for the first marking period.
Principal Bassett explained this prestigious award.
“This honor is given to students who consistently demonstrate outstanding 'SOARing' behaviors - Safety, Ownership, Acceptance, and Respect - serving as role models of leadership, responsibility, and kindness in our school community,” she said.
Principal Bassett continued to share the process.
“Exceptional Eagles are nominated by their teachers for embodying these core values every day. Their positive attitude, respect for others, desire to learn and grow, and commitment to excellence set a shining example for their peers.”
On Wednesday, December 3, during the school-wide assembly, when the chorus students sang for their classmates and staff, the Exceptional Eagles were recognized. They received a certificate to commemorate this achievement.
“This recognition is a testament to their character and the positive impact they bring to our Eagle family,” Principal Bassett claimed.
