Ike steam expo

An evening featuring creative, fascinating, and brilliant exhibits was held on Thursday, April 16, at the Eisenhower Intermediate School.

On that day, the spacious gymnasium at Eisenhower turned into an exhibition hall, filled with 65 projects crafted and built by an estimated 125 very imaginative 5th Grade and 6th Grade students during the annual Eisenhower STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Expo.

Dyan Kearns, the Intervention Specialist at Eisenhower, spoke about how impressive the exhibition turned out to be.

“More than 125 students presented over 65 science and engineering projects, transforming the space into a hub of innovation and discovery,” Ms. Kearns said. “From creative experiments to thoughtfully designed models, students demonstrated scientific curiosity, critical thinking, and imagination.”

She also shared the positive atmosphere throughout the gym.

“Families, staff, and peers had the opportunity to engage with student presenters, making the evening a celebration of learning, inquiry, and achievement.”
