Exceptional students soared through the fourth marking period at the Eisenhower Intermediate School.
Eisenhower Principal Dr. Laura Bassett and Assistant Principal Brian Smith were proud to present certificates to their students who were recognized as "Exceptional Eagles" for the fourth marking period.
These award-winning students were announced during a schoolwide assembly on Tuesday, June 2, in the gymnasium. They were celebrated by their schoolmates and teachers.
According to Dr. Bassett, Exceptional Eagles are nominated by their teachers for showing SOARing behaviors (safety, ownership, acceptance, and respect), for showing growth throughout the year, and for being leaders among their peers.
Dr. Bassett claimed:
