Our Eisenhower Community worked together to commemorate this special 2025-2026 school year in the design and creation of a new tile moscai mural that will decorate the halls of Eisenhower for years to come.
The concept for this mural came from a project our Eisenhower Expectations staff committee led in the fall of 2025, where during an extended homeroom lesson we emphasized the importance of teamwork and community in order to help each student thrive as an individual and to ensure our school culture and foundation remains strong. Every student and teacher contributed a piece of a bulletin board mosaic to demonstrate that we can create great things together when we work as a team.
Inspired to take this concept and create a lasting impression on the school as we transition from a 5th and 6th grade building to a 4th and 5th grade upper elementary school, our Eagle Expectations Committee planned for a permanent art installation that would carry this message forward. Each student and staff member left a message on the back of a ceramic tile, and the tiles came together to form our beautiful new Eisenhower "E".
We are grateful to our amazing PTO for funding the tiles for this project, and we thank parent volunteer Ed Caufield for dedicating his time and labor to create the final piece.
As we close out this special school year, we hope that our 25-26 Eagles remember the power of teamwork and community. The good work we do lives on, just as this mural will be preserved to celebrate a special group of students and staff.
Because at Eisenhower, we SOAR together!
