Important dismissal reminders for all Parents/Guardians:
Eisenhower dismisses students according to their bus assignments in PowerSchool. If you need to change your child’s dismissal routine, please submit the "Change in Dismissal" form through the PowerSchool Parent Parent Portal by 12:00 PM on the day of the change. This form is required for student pickups, attendance in after-school programs, as permission to walk home* or when your student will attend BR Cares on demand.
Transportation Opt-Out: If you completed a Transportation Opt-Out form in PowerSchool you must also submit a Change in Dismissal form to alert the school how your child will be dismissed daily (parent pick-up, walk/bike).
Walkers: If you would like to allow your student to walk/bike home, complete the Walker Form and email it to cfinn@brrsd.k12.nj.us by 12:00 PM. This form grants permission for your child to walk home - it does NOT change your child’s dismissal procedure to walking - daily. In addition to completing the walker permission form, you must also submit a Change in Dismissal form to indicate what days your child will walk home. If the routine changes you must submit a Change in Dismissal form again.
Same-Day Emergencies & Unique Circumstances: For changes after 12:00 PM or for any unique dismissal situations, please call the Main Office directly for assistance.
These procedures help us maintain a safe, smooth, and secure dismissal for all our Eagles.

Please arrive early to bus stops and allow extra time for our bus routes for both arrival and dismissal. We're ready for an amazing school year!

As a reminder, Eisenhower Field Day is Tuesday, June 10th. Students shoudl wear sunscreen and sneakers to school and bring a towel, a hat, and a labeled water bottle.

Elections for Eisenhower PTO Board positions for the '26-’27 school year will be held at our final PTO meeting on Tuesday, June 9 at 6:30pm in the library. All paid PTO members may vote in the election in-person at this meeting.
The current slate of nominees is attached, with a brief bio for each candidate. Additional nominations, if any, will be taken from the floor during the meeting.
If no additional nominations are received on the floor for other positions, the nominees listed on the slate will be elected by acclamation (meaning that no vote is needed since the individuals are running uncontested).

Instructional Assistant Tara Rutkowski, who wore a penguin outfit, was declared the champion in a showdown with four other contestants on stage that morning. Principal Dr. Laura Bassett, Music Teachers Christine Nevill and Madison Kaminsky, and Health and Physical Education Teacher Jim Perry were the other final contestants.

Our students especially enjoyed hearing the student perspective from the visiting 8th graders. They also had the chance to ask questions and learn more about the wonderful opportunities that await them at BRMS!
