An exploration of creative projects was showcased at the John F. Kennedy Primary School's STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) Expo on Wednesday, May 6.
According to the STEAM Expo’s coordinator, Marisa Keenan, a 3rd Teacher at JFK, more than 85 students from the 3rd and 4th Grades participated in the event that was staged in the school’s gymnasium.
“Students selected projects in a variety of areas, ranging from engineering and art to 3D printing,” Ms. Keenan revealed.
She further explained the benefits that the students gained.
“Throughout the Expo, each group had the opportunity not only to showcase and explain the work they completed, but also to explore and learn from the projects created by their peers.”
